The one day course is for you that wants to try kitesurfing. We cover elements such as flying a trainerkite, rigging an inflatable kite, flying and feeling the power of kite as we’re in the water.

The two days course is for you who wants to learn the basics in order to independently continue on your own. You will ride your first meters by the end of the course.

As a student with Gusty you’ll get the best possible teaching there is to find. To make sure that you get value from your course we’ll never take more than two students per instructor.
Our instructors are all IKO certified. This means that you as a student will be instructed according to the guidelines from IKO to ensure a safe and easy way to learn. During a lesson with Gusty we’ll will step-by-step teach you to master the fundamental techniques under safe conditions so that you’ll soon be able to kitesurf on your own.

I am Gustav, an ordinary guy who likes to kitesurf.
2009 was the year when I took a kitesurfing course in Gothenburg and like many others I got immediately hooked to this wonderful sport! It did not take many days before I bought my own kite equipment and since then I have literally been kitesurfing in all weather!
In 2011, I educated myself to become a kitesurfing instructor and now I take care of future kite addicts as often as I can. As an instructor, I am calm and pedagogical. For me it is important that you as a student not only should have a great day on the beach (and in the water) but also that you leave me with the confidence to be able to kitesurf independently without having me constantly watching your back.
At Gusty we do not instruct more than two people at once per instructor. We do this since it’s safer and since we don’t think it’s fair for you to just stand watching half of the time during the course.

För Mats började det Sommaren 2017 då han bokade jag upp sig på en kurs i kitesurfing hos Gusty. Utan tidigare erfarenheter av vattensporter tyckte Mats att kitesurfing verkade vara en kul grej och ett roligt sätt att träffa nya människor. Det visade sig vara en riktig fullträff! Så fort Mats fått på sig våtdräkten och gick ut i vattnet, med alla kitesurfare susandes omkring honom, kände han sig hemma. Friska vindar och 18° i luften framstod inte längre som kasst juliväder, utan istället dagar då han kunde fräsa fram över vågorna, flyga genom luften och göra coola hopp och tricks!
För att kunna syssla ännu mer med sporten, och även föra vidare glädjen som den för med sig, gick Mats våren 2021 IKO’s instruktörskurs på Öland. Mats tycker det är lika kul att se andra tjuta av glädje när de kommer upp på brädan som när han själv tog de där första kliven!
